About

Post-Nup is a show about marriage.

More specifically, it’s a show about that last hour of the day, on a night when it’s pretty apparent (at least to the woman) that there isn’t going to be any sex. One person might be checking email, while the other catches up on some quality reading. Maybe they watch a show they both like; or maybe they just chat about their days. Maybe they drink a bottle of wine and watch 6 episodes of Mad Men back-to-back, which ends up screwing up their next work day so badly that they just sit at their desks glassy-eyed, pretending to work but really just reading their favorite time-wasting web sites.

Post-Nup is set in San Francisco. An Indian “web entrepreneur” (Omar) is married to a Jewish lawyer (Gaby). You got it; there are no happy in-laws in this equation. But these two are going to make some bad-ass business babies, if they ever procreate. Right now, they’re just trying to stay married.

Each heart-wrenching, tear-jerking episode examines what it means to be man and wife. We look at their recurring thoughts, their deepest desires, and their struggle to understand what marriage means.

And we do it all in under 3 minutes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for checking out Post-Nup!

    Hey Sandeep

I am sitting at Bawji's laptop in Gaziabad at 5 am fighting jet lag. So I figured I'll catch up on postnup. Can't play the episodes (Internet too slow), but the comics are hilarious! Only bad thing - I am even wider awake now!

    Sandeep and Katherine,

Firstly, as to demographics, I am a 60s something gay male, so you see-you have a very wide appeal! Gay relationships are not so different. Your comic is clever, witty, and very well drawn with unusual and surprising twists. I have recommended it to all my friends and family too, including my mother (who obviously, is pretty liberal). I wish you great success and lots of $ if that's your goal. If there's anything your fans can to to speed that along just publish it.
I do have a couple of minor constructive suggestions that I hope you won't find offensive. From looking at the graphics alone we don't know that you're Indian and she's Jewish, so perhaps you could figure out some way to convey that--maybe with skin color or shape of nose or something. Just sayin'.....

    Gary
